Zen Fellowship of Alexandria: About: The Zen Fellowship of Alexandria is dedicated to the practice of zazen (Zen meditation) in the Soto tradition of Taisen Deshimaru and Kodo Sawaki. We practice zazen (Zen meditation) at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Alexandria. ZFA is affiliated with the American Zen Association and the Zen Fellowship of Bakersfield, California, the New Orleans Zen Temple, Richard Collins, Abbot and Stone Nest Dojo Sewanee Tennessee. The Director of ZFA is Robert Savage, who received monastic ordination and Shusso ordination (authority to teach) from Richard Collins, Abbot.
